About Krista

Hi, I’m Krista! I like long walks on the beach, red wine, and men with accents. Preferably those who understand that I spend large sections of my life glued to my computer screen. Oh! Wait! You mean, this isn’t my Authorsdate* profile?

*If one of these doesn’t exist, we should make one. If farmers have their own dating site, authors can too!

What do you need to know about me?

Krista writes.

That’s all.

Really, you want more? Okay, you asked for it.

I’m a new adult writing new adult fiction.

I write other things too, but I’m sticking with the new adult for now. Most of my work so far could be classified as contemporary romance. I might be brave and shake it up a little one day.

I write poetry too. There’s even a blog for it. I’m not brave enough to share that though.

I write with green tea in summer, and chai tea in winter.

I have a day job. I create websites and run marketing for indie authors and small businesses. It’s not glamorous. I’m thankful for the experience though.

Like most other New Adults, I’m working at creating what I want out of life. (If you weren’t sure, my raison d’etre is writing. I live words. I breathe words. I dream words.)

My Favorite Books

Losing It, Flat-Out Love, Easy, and Poison Study.
Non New-Adult options include: The Phantom Tollbooth, The Bell Jar, The Handmaid’s Tale, and If You Give A Mouse A Cookie.

My Literary Boyfriends

I’m sticking with Garrick (Losing It) for the moment.
